What else do you expect would come out from the cesspool of Hollywood nowadays? Especially the kind of cesspool created by both Hollywood and academic elite school.

Thanks for keeping the sexual anxiety meter registering high here on the US Board, Boys. With the amount of time you two spend worrying about what other people do in the bedroom, I'm absolutely convinced you both have some deep seated emotional issues that Freud would have enjoyed assigning a body part to. Get help for yourselves and stop worrying about everybody else.

Yeah, Yellichink is the official bigot in residence,

He lives in a fictionalised world where Evangelism is the salvation for humanity, where Fox News is the last great hope for the future of broadcasting, and where his unhealthy obsession with other people's sexual preferences is not an indication of exactly what you stated above.

I'm painfully aware of just how easily fascism can take hold of those with paranoid personality disorders and an inability to usefully discriminate bias - it makes me wonder how these vitriolic, insecure, nasty pieces of work are so eager to assert that the rest of society should fit in with their own world-views, that are themselves all too often routed in personal insecurity (hitler).

In Yelli's case I think it has more to do with a distinct lack girly action leading to all encompassing frustration and jealousy. He once divulged on the UK thread that he was frustrated that as a poor college student, he couldn't go to spring break and participate in those celebrations involving naked young women and free love. Ironically he also said in the same thread that he disapproved of those very celebrations.
Since he doesn't seem to have the personality to seduce himself and since he has declared that he is poor, I would be willing to send him $200 (Australian, we are over parity with the US now so it is even better for him) to get the poor little bugger an appointment with a member of the World's oldest profession. I reckon that once he gets some action the only person's sex life he will be concerned with is his own. That way we can prove that free (to him, this time) love conquors beats facism ;-).

That is a superb idea - they do say afterall that we protest loudest about that which we envy most. I'll happily contribute and applaud your forward-thinking solution to this problem!

From a married man's perspective, yes, you read it right, you leftists' way of thinking is nothing but insanity.

Anything is related so sex, sex and more sex, and sex is good.....

Anybody who is disagreeing with you is a Fascist.

Where did you learn this dichotomic crap from? Oh wait, you leftists can't think. You are only given a set of propaganda and sent out to bully others.

It turns out what you think you know about Freud is actually coming out of the pens of Fromm. And, apparently, you guys stick with Fromm so much that you omit the whole area of study regarding sex, family and child rearing that is Evolutionary Psychology. The conclusion from EP on how to rear your children is not far away from what bible teaches you.

I would rather side with Evangelists than the followers, like you leftists, of Fromm and his friends of Frankfurt School of bullcrap.

For you ignorant leftists who think the opposite to the leftists are fascists, this is probably too much information for you to absorb:

Some Who Became Fascists

Robert Michels was a German Marxist disillusioned with the Social Democrats. He became a revolutionary syndicalist. In 1911 he wrote Political Parties, a brilliant analytic work, (17) demonstrating the impossibility of "participatory democracy"--a phrase that was not to be coined for half a century, but which accurately captures the early Marxist vision of socialist administration. (18) Later he became an Italian (changing "Robert" to "Roberto") and one of the leading Fascist theoreticians.

Hendrik de Man was the leading Belgian socialist of his day and recognized as one of the two or three most outstanding socialist intellects in Europe--many in the 1930s believed him to be the most important socialist theoretician since Marx. He is the most prominent of the numerous Western European Marxists who wrestled their way from Marxism to Fascism or National Socialism in the interwar years. In more than a dozen thoughtful books from The Remaking of a Mind (1919), via The Socialist Idea (1933), to Après Coup (1941) de Man left a detailed account of the theoretical odyssey which led him, by 1940, to acclaim the Nazi subjugation of Europe as "a deliverance." His journey began, as such journeys so often did, with the conviction that Marxism needed to be revised along "idealist" and psychological lines. (19)

Five Facts about Fascism

Over the last 30 years, scholarship has gradually begun to bring us a more accurate appreciation of what Fascism was. (20) The picture that emerges from ongoing research into the origins of Fascism is not yet entirely clear, but it's clear enough to show that the truth cannot be reconciled with the conventional view. We can highlight some of the unsettling conclusions in five facts:

Fascism was a doctrine well elaborated years before it was named. The core of the Fascist movement launched officially in the Piazza San Sepolcro on 23rd March 1919 was an intellectual and organizational tradition called "national syndicalism."

As an intellectual edifice, Fascism was mostly in place by about 1910. Historically, the taproot of Fascism lies in the 1890s--in the "Crisis of Marxism" and in the interaction of nineteenth-century revolutionary socialism with fin de siècle anti-rationalism and anti-liberalism.

Fascism changed dramatically between 1919 and 1922, and again changed dramatically after 1922. This is what we expect of any ideological movement which comes close to power and then attains it. Bolshevism (renamed Communism in 1920) also changed dramatically, several times over.

Many of the older treatments of Fascism are misleading because they cobble together Fascist pronouncements, almost entirely from after 1922, reflecting the pressures on a broad and flexible political movement solidifying its rule by compromises, and suppose that by this method they can isolate the character and motivation of Fascist ideology. It is as if we were to reconstruct the ideas of Bolshevism by collecting the pronouncements of the Soviet government in 1943, which would lead us to conclude that Marxism owed a lot to Ivan the Terrible and Peter the Great.

Fascism was a movement with its roots primarily in the left. Its leaders and initiators were secular-minded, highly progressive intellectuals, hard-headed haters of existing society and especially of its most bourgeois aspects.

There were also non-leftist currents which fed into Fascism; the most prominent was the nationalism of Enrico Corradini. This anti-liberal, anti-democratic movement was preoccupied with building Italy's strength by accelerated industrialization. Though it was considered rightwing at the time, Corradini called himself a socialist, and similar movements in the Third World would later be warmly supported by the left.

When confronted with reality, your only respond is laughing like an idiot, and keep denying. Typical leftist.

MODERN LEFTISM AS RECYCLED FASCISM

By: John J. Ray (M.A.; Ph.D.)

Mussolini's own summary of the Fascist philosophy: "Tutto nello Stato, niente al di fuori dello Stato, nulla contro lo Stato" (Everything in the State, nothing outside the State, nothing against the State)

In Mussolini's own words

Let us listen initially to some reflections on the early days of Fascism by Mussolini himself -- first published in 1935 (See the third chapter in Greene, 1968).

"If the bourgeoisie think they will find lightning conductors in us they are the more deceived; we must start work at once .... We want to accustom the working class to real and effectual leadership".

And that was Mussolini quoting his own words from the early Fascist days. So while Mussolini had by that time (in his 30s) come to reject the Marxist idea of a class-war, he still saw himself as anti-bourgeois and as a saviour and leader of the workers. What modern-day Leftist could not identify with that?

"Therefore I desire that this assembly shall accept the revindication of national trades unionism"

So he was a good union man like most Leftists today.

"When the present regime breaks down, we must be ready at once to take its place"

Again a great Leftist hope and aspiration.

"Fascism has taken up an attitude of complete opposition to the doctrines of Liberalism, both in the political field and in the field of economics".

The "Liberalism" he refers to here would of course be called "Neo-liberalism" today -- the politics of Margaret Thatcher and Ronald Reagan. Mussolini opposed such politics and so do Leftists today.

"The present method of political representation cannot suffice".

Modern-day Leftists too seem to seek influence outside the normal democratic channels -- from strikes and demonstrations to often successful attempts to get the courts to make law.

"Fascism now and always believes in holiness and in heroism; that is to say in actions influenced by no economic motive"

He here also rejects the Communist emphasis on materialism. Leftism to this day is often seen as a religion and its agitators clearly often long to be seen as heroic and unmaterialistic.

"Fascism repudiates the conception of "economic" happiness"

Leftists today also tend to regard consumerism as gross (or say they do as they drive off in their Volvos).

"After the war, in 1919, Socialism was already dead as a doctrine: It existed only as a hatred".

Socialism has never been a buzzword in North American Leftist circles but it certainly was for a very long time in the rest of the world. And to modern day British Leftists too socialism has a meaning that is more nostalgic and emotional than concrete and many would be prepared to admit that it is functionally "dead". Mussolini, however was 70 years earlier in announcing the death. It should be noted, however, that Mussolini was principally referring here to the policies and doctrines of his own former Socialist Party -- which was explicitly Marxist -- and which were far more extreme than the socialism of (say) Clement Attlee and the postwar British Labour party.

"Fascism ..... was born of the need for action and it was itself from the beginning practical rather than theoretical".

Modern-day Leftist demonstrators too seem to be more interested in dramatic actions than in any coherent theory.

" one would there find no ordered expression of doctrine but a series of aphorisms, anticipations and aspirations".

This is how Mussolini described early Fascist meetings. Modern-day Leftist agitators too seem more interested in slogans than in any form of rational debate.

"If the 19th century has been the century of the individual (for liberalism means individualism), it may be conjectured that this is the century of the State.

This is Mussolini's famous prophecy about the 20th century in the Enciclopedia Italiana. It came true with the aid of the modern-day Left and their love of big government. To underline that, note that in 1900 the

Me, I'd gladly let Mr Junior do some spelunking in Miss Portman's love cavern, but the lack of it isn't going to make my life miserable...
