Subject: Will Japan build aircraft carrier?
YelliChink    8/12/2011 4:59:09 PM
Since PLAN launched their first carrier and intent to change the military balance in West Pacific, Japan may need to rethink about building carrier forces. Fortunately for Japan, the Kitty Hawk is now available, and building a very powerful carrier group is much easier for JMSDF. It may be necessary as the USN is going on a shrink phase. JMSDF has to take more responsibility together with Australia. If such arrangement is going well, then the USN might want to rethink about the final fate of JFK.

The 22DDH project is almost as big as Charles de Gaule.
JMSDF you are getting it wrong.
Why not just build a F-35C carrier?
