I post this poem once again for those who have not read it: On the Judgement day before People's Throne; There stood at last Yanki Idiot; The Devil had its List begun; Of crimes the Yankee had done; People of Nepal and of Vietnam; Cut Satan short before Peoples Throne: "Don't bore us all with reading; CIA's professorial pleading! If you are bold enough to face him; In your kingdom you may take him"

A great Buddhist nation like Nepal should be able to figure out that their desire to not be ruled by totalitarians is causing them to suffer. The Buddha asked the freedom fighter, "Where are your chains?" The freedom fighter replied, "I AM FREE! I have no chains!" The Buddha asked "then why do you fight?"

Look, Nepalies are not given a chance to decide for themselves. they should be given a chance for self determination. So far India was making Nepal a de facto colony. Now Nepalese have to bear the Yankis, Brits on top of that. this is I am telling you as an Insider. If foreign support is stopped, the current pro-indian puppet government will collapse in a few days.

Well, the Buddha fell on deaf ears. Let's try 20th Century British philosophy - "You say you want a revolution Well you know We all want to change the world You tell me that it's evolution Well you know We all want to change the world But when you talk about destruction Don't you know you can count me out in Don't you know it's gonna be alright Don't you know it's gonna be alright Don't you know it's gonna be alright You say you got a real solution Well you know We don't all love to see the plan You ask me for a contribution Well you know We're doing what we can But if you want money for people with minds that hate All I can tell you is brother you have to wait Don't you know it's gonna be alright Don't you know it's gonna be alright Don't you know it's gonna be alright You say you'll change the constitution Well you know We all love to change your head You tell me it's the institution Well you know You better free your mind instead But if you go carrying pictures of Chairman Mao You ain't going to make it with anyone anyhow Don't you know it's gonna be alright Don't you know it's gonna be alright Don't you know it's gonna be alright Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh Alright, alright, alright, alright, alright Alright, alright, alright, alright, alright Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh Alright, alright, alright Alright Alright"

That's cute isn't it CP. Every body should accept their lot and stop struggling for freedom. Unresisted opression is worse than war. P.S. Nepal is ruled by a military government that has murdered thousands including the King and the bulk of the Royal Family.

Quoting the Beatles doesn't make opression any more bearable.

Oppression? How about some 20th Century Canadian philosophy? "There is unrest in the forest, There is trouble with the trees, For the maples want more sunlight And the oaks ignore their pleas. The trouble with the maples, And they're quite convinced the're right They say the oaks are just too lofty And they grab up all the light. But the oaks can"t help their feelings If they like the way they"re made. And they wonder why the maples Can"t be happy in their shade? There is trouble in the Forest And the creatures all have fled As the Maples scream "Oppression!" And the Oaks just shake their heads So the maples formed a union And demanded equal rights. "The oaks are just too greedy; We will make them give us light." Now there's no more oak oppression, For they passed a noble law, And the trees are all kept equal By hatchet, axe, and saw."
