Subject: Happy Birthday America
American Kafir    7/4/2003 7:40:07 AM
Every 4th of July in St. Louis, we have a big fair with beer, brats, free concerts, and air shows from Boeing and the USAF. This year, the Eads Bridge, a 129-year old architectural wonder that spans the Mississippi River is reopening to traffic in a ceremony today at the fair. Keeping in mind that St. Louis bridges were named as terror targets by none other than Khalid Sheikh Muhammad, and the fair is always crowded and hot (the high temp today is supposed to be 95 degrees F), I was a bit hesistant about going today. But then I decided I HAVE TO GO, because I'm a defiant American. Happy Birthday, America! Let's party!

In fact since 1912. Denmark had a lot of emigrants to the US, and the country wanted to keep in touch. There are many Danish families that have american relatives - in fact my grandmothers brother fought for the US in WW1 and another relative fought with the marines in WW2 - so congratulations to the USA.
