Subject: US Diplomatic Convoy bombed in Gaza
appleciderus    10/15/2003 6:52:21 AM
Debka reports the bombing of a US diplomatic convoy in Gaza was the beginning of a new anti-US campaign ordered by Arafat himself. It seems to me that this is the very first INTENTIONAL detonation of a terrorist bomb in Gaza ever. It occurred shortly after the convoy entered Gaza from Israel and was joined with a Palestinian police vehicle. My first inclination was that Iran was involved. Any thoughts or comments?

It's all over the news in the U.S. too. apparently the vehicle was carrying the bodyguards for the diplomat. (no one is saying who the diplomat is, or whether it was State or USAID mission.) I submit to you that Iran is party to every terrorist act that occurs in that region - see "hezbollah" (aka the "party animals of god") No matter who was beind this particular bombing, it's way past time we sent a whole pile of these critters to their just rewards. The US position should be that we begin bombing all Palestinian terrorist assets in Gaza until the Americans killed today are returned safe, sound, and alive to the United States. It's not our problem that the Palestinians can't do miracles.

Jerusalem(AP) "U.S. citizens were ordered to leave the Gaza Strip following a deadly attack on a convoy of U.S. diplomats Wednesday, diplomatic sources said. Three Americans, apparently security guards for diplomats, were killed in the attack near the Palestinian town of Beit Lahiya in the northern Gaza Strip. Several hours after the bombing, U.S. investigators were attacked by Palestinian stone throwers and sped away as their cars were pelted by rocks. Diplomats, speaking on condition of anonymity, said U.S. citizens were asked to leave the volatile strip, but details of the order were not immediately available." Stone throwing Palestinian mobs don't exist without Arafat's blessing. Wonder what Arafat was afraid US investigators would find?

Appple, "Stone throwing Palestinian mobs don't exist without Arafat's blessing. Wonder what Arafat was afraid US investigators would find?" I would really have to dig deep and think about that one... let me see... direct ties from arafat to terrorist cells? nawww... too obvious, besides, we know that - we just choose to the the politically expedient and ignore it. hmmm... links arafats highly secret animal porn film ring, which earns him billions in the middle east? BINGO! I think we have a winner! E.

I doubt that Iran was involved, as it is Hamas that controls the Gaza strip. But Saudi or Al Qaeda involvement can't be ruled out. Also, the bomb used was very similar to types used against US forces in Iraq, pointing to an Al Qaeda connection.

They were recently visted by the isralei air force! Couldn't iran have too much to lose with the u.n. nuclear watchdog breathing down it's neck and, with us on their border, And a social upheaval just a breath away? No offence to you appleciderus, but i feel the syrians had a hand in this finacially! Of course osama's putrid smell is all over this one as well! I could be wrong though! Just a thought...

(I'm just waiting for the extreme left wingers to start their "The Israelis probably did it to frame poor misunderstood Hamas" crap...) Solution: Offer them a round trip ticket to israel to visit hamas, and watch how many of them actually turn it down. And those who do take it won't be using the 2nd ticket to come home!

I'm inclined to think of Syria as a vassal state of Iran's since their only alternative source of terror money has dried up (Iraq). I did hear that Israel was behind the bombing on a radio report. Still, I cannot believe it could have happened without Arafat's imprimatur.
