If I were Spain I'd pull my troops out too. I'd spend resources on existing special police and their investigations into terrorism. Terrorists plots are being foiled using these methods. Now that the US has created a mess in Iraq, terrorism probably will increase. If they stay there and align the resistance with the terrorists it seems clear that terrorism becomes a greater risk. Maybe then supporters of Bush can say, 'I told you so, we needed to invade Iraq because of the terrorists hiding there!'
