Subject: Don't be surprised...! Cause' this doesn't look good!

Spain, trusting current reports... is about to pull out of the coalition in iraq! with a big socialist win being reported in their elections. Well... my american compadres' don't be surprised, when the spanish fury is systematically turned against us by the state. Why! Because we (supposively) LIED, and we're (Supposively) EVIL, and we're ultimately responsible for everything under the sun! To sum it up... They were tried & they proved weak! When EVIL showed it's head in madrid about 4 days ago, GOOD was taking a holiday! Farewell Spain, A very beautiful place, that's about to turn very ugly in a very short time! MY GOD, i hope i'm wrong about all of this!

True, spain isn't totally lost to the terror war! But at a loss of 200+ dead & 1500+ wounded has already sent a message to the terrorists worldwide "Your attacks work, we will pull out of iraq. We will distance ourseleves from the U.S. because we can't resist the slaughter of spanish civilians!" I hate putting it like that, but... i fear the terrorists will use this as a domino effect & go after any other weaker coalition partner & cause much more useless slaughter upon the innocents! Terrorists are equal opportunity bombers and will be happy to bomb anywhere and at anytime & against anyone! The question is when is it going to stop & who's going to stop it? For more than 20 years the international community has been unable to check terrorism! Some nations need to make a stand against this inhuman form of warfare or simply return to the cocoon of the previous century! See no evil, hear no evil...

I agree completely. They are now going to go after other countries which participated in the Iraq War, but where public support for war was nearly non-existent and they will do so especially prior to elections in order to have similar impact. My country is one of these countries. About 90% of the population was opposed to the War in Iraq (but not to the war against terror), yet the government sent troops anyway.

I agree with you 100% If Al-Quaeda is not defeated they will eventually show up again in Spain with another attack making some crazy demand. If you're dealing with people that can not be reasoned with and only want to kill you, what do you do? You going to have to stand up sooner or later, sooner is better.

As I mentioned earlier, Italy, Poland, England, and all others who supported the war in Iraq will be targets. Especially right before elections. Al Qaeda has a new tactic now to support their strategy of eliminating US allies.

"Cool.... Do you feel that Al-Quaeda will ever give up even if all there demands are met " Well, considering the fact that Al-Quaeda's demands include that we all become Muslim and join in a Bin Laden run Caliphate - should they ever achieve that then yes, I guess they would 'give up' since we would not exist anymore (at least not as a separate Western Civilization)...

What we really need now is something that would be perceived as a major victory in the fight against terrorism. Perhaps the capture of Bin Laden or Sheikh Mullah Omar (or even both!). That would boost waning morale in the West and hit terrorist morale badly.
