Clinton response to Khobar Towers
airborne

USA Today is reporting that the Clinton administration proved the Khobar Towers bombing was sponsored and coordinated by Iran. So what was their "covert operation" to retaliate. They outed Iranian intelligence agents. They killed 19 US Airmen and we "outed" them in retaliation. Does anyone beleive that is sufficient retaliation? Why is something this major a page 6 story?

Hmmm... yeah, that's not the sort of thing I would have done if I were 'the boss'. but then, that's why they won't let me carry the "football". In light of all the sanctions (I believe we still have or have recently eased sanctions against iran?) what else could reasonabley be done by a peace-mongering libero-facsist like slick willie? and if she HAD done something drastic, like lobbing some TLAMs at a cave somewhere, don't you think she'd lose her support for a 2008 presidential election bid? E.
