Subject: Gary Busey, Traitor

In a Turkish movie, Gary Busey plays an American doctor who is enraged when Iraqi prisoners are killed by American troops before being brought to Abu Ghraib so he can harvest their organs and send them to Israel. I don't have the time to look up the story I read in the paper yesterday, but here's the first Google story I found. http://www.frontpagemag.com/Articles/ReadArticle.asp?ID=21154

Because he's lending aid and comfort to terrorist murderers. I'm sorry I didn't check the Turkey board first... I'm fine with discussing it there.

“not to terrorists to poor iraqi people everday at least 20 people dies in there” - Kane Yes, but who is responsible for these deaths? Do American soldiers strap explosives under their clothes and murder and maim civilians by blowing themselves up in crowded markets or outside of mosques? No, the murderers are extremist religious terrorists that the Muslim world as a whole refuses to condemn. I know that the American military has caused the deaths of civilians, but this is not a deliberate policy. I doubt that there has ever been a war in a comparable environment where the civilians have been in “less” danger. I would hate to be an Iraqi, but I understand that horrible things happen unintentionally in wars. I therefore hope that wars are entered into as a last resort, but sometimes the alternatives, or the probable future alternative outcomes, are worse. We removed a perceived threat in Saddam and his murderous regime, who used poison gas and previously had a nuclear weapons program. We are now fighting against Baathists and various religious militias who hate the West and would collaborate in seeking our destruction. Close to 4000 Americans have already been murdered by terrorists, and Gary Busey is collaborating with our enemies’ sympathizers by spreading vicious lies which will incite further hatred for America and very possibly cause American deaths.

Amorphus Blob, take a pill already. Those people that blow themselves up are only reflecting the desperation of their side. They are using the assets that are available. We use tanks, helo gunships, they use people. Their tools/weapons are far more cost effecient and effective than ours. Takes a lot more guts to do it their way than ours. So they are killing civilians. In their minds are we different? Not hardly. Its all a perfectly good reason to get the hell out of Iraq. It is a war without clear, attainable objectives and a war without proper cause. You sound awfully racist to me.

The two approaches to fighting are not morally equivalent. “Its all a perfectly good reason to get the hell out of Iraq. >>> The fact that they’re fighting us is a good reason to quit, regardless of what would happen to the region and American interests afterwards? “It is a war without clear, attainable objectives… >>> I agree that the Bush admin has done a poor job of identifying objectives past the taking of Baghdad, or at least of explaining them to the public. “…and a war without proper cause.” >>> Saddam used WMD (gas) on citizens of his own country. He had a nuclear program. He invaded and pillaged Kuwait, killing thousands of people, in a bid to control its oil. Nobody thought that he had shelved his nuclear program. His sons were as psychopathic as him, and less stable. You sound awfully racist to me.” >>> Because I think that the sides are not morally equivalent, or what?

I'm getting sick and tired of the same crap over and over again: terrorists are using the weapons at their disposal,(meatbag bombers)americans use helicopters,nd missles..blah..blah..bleat...blah...etc...ad nauseum.. once and for all,WE DON'T GO OUT OF OUR WAY TO KILL CIVILIANS...WE GO OUT OF OUR WAY TO AVOID HARMING CIVILIANS...(our enemies know this..that is why they put military assets in or on places like hospitals...)terrorists on the other hand go out of their way to inflict civilian casualties...lets get it right from now on please...

>> In a Turkish movie, Gary Busey plays an American doctor who is enraged when Iraqi prisoners are killed by American troops before being brought to Abu Ghraib so he can harvest their organs and send them to Israel. << Killing people so you can transplant their organs is an urban myth. The transplant process simply doesn't work that way. The only reason something like that would be put into a movie is to enrage the gullible. I'm a nurse. I know a lot more about the transplant process than (for instance) Gary Busey.

Let's see if I get it right. If Americans makes a film which has evil charecters from nationality X, then it is just a film. But if an American actor plays in a film which has evil American aharacters, they became suddenly traitors. Man, what reality are you in. A film is a film.
