Subject: Laden described himself as prophet
trustedsourceofinfo    3/5/2006 9:04:54 PM
Tell me whats the difference... let me quote.. "He delivered (preached) the Quran, and said he was a prophet," Paracha said. "He said very nice things, very impressive." http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/articleshow/msid-1438784,curpg-1.cms

There are no psycho things neither in Islam, Christianity nor Judaism. Of course, it is your choice to believe in god or not, but it is just people, us (not the USA :)) who change the meaning of a phrase, a sentence, or the whole paragraph taken from the holy books. We basically try to understand however we want to understand Qu'ran especially. You might say something good about me, but if I want, I can take it the wrong way. This is all what we are doing right now.

You have just done what most muslims do. you have avoided the valid points in my post. You are running around complaining that people have it all wrong but refuse to address the proof of what i said. I have nothing against you personally and i dont name call if i can help it so there is no reason to avoid the topic. Isam is NOT a peaceful religion and muhammed was not a peaceful or holy man. Read the quran, read the history written within 2 hundreds years of mad muhammeds death. Or deny the truth. Your prophet had people tortured and killed. is that the kind of man you want to hold in high regard? i notice you didnt try to deny the truth of what i posted, you just deflected it. I really want to know what you think about muhammed raiding towns and caravans, murdering people who spoke out against him, enslaving captured jewish women and trading them with his cohorts. are you denying muhammed did these things? if so, you deny islams own holy texts and history.

Are you saying that you know everything about Mohammad. Were you there when he was killing innocent people? He had a mission to complete just like Jesus did. He did not do it by killing people. How much of Qu'ran did you read so far? And I know you don't mean anything personally. I am open for a respectful argument with no swearwords or insults. And I love Jesus as much as a Christian. Because that is what my religion, my holy book says. Shouldn't it? We have different beliefs on certain subjects, but just because that stupid OBL killed all theinnocent people in the name of Allah, everyone all of a sudden turned their backs to all the muslims. I live in the USA and everyone seems to be ok with me being muslim. And if inside they are scared of me being a POTENTIAL terrosists then that's a SHAME. After listening to all you guys' arguments and I don't think I can ever be comfortable sitting and talking to a Christian, Jewish or a Buddist. They are not the greatest people on Earth, neither are we. But why am I going to be judged because of my religion only? Is that fair to you? I am telling that what we learn about our religion is NOT killing innocent people. We learn how to be a useful individual to our society, not a Terrorist. Why? I don't get it. I love my religion an I do not think any of this nonsense.

Scratchie is right. Most people do not know anything about it. The biggest problem is most of the muslims countries are poor and in bad conditions. If i was a Christian taht lives in USA without knowing anything about a religion i would think taht Muslims are crazy. In Turkey they tell us that all 3 religions are based on same things. And that's right.Evey religion's prophet is also prophet of others. I chose to be an Atheist because i believe religions can not answer my questions for e.g Who created god?and many other questions(not writing because people may get it wrong) Even the Darwin's theory can not expalin everything.I'm in an emptiness. So i'll just wait. But i still agree with Scrathie

All im telling you is that Islam and Muhammed are evil. I tell you this based on extensive reading of the quran and other holy texts of islam that are accepted as such by the muslim community. The quran isnt the only source. If anything the quran is a jumble of confusion with no chronological order and unintelligible surahs scattered throughout. its important to understand the context of any given verse in the quran as well. what was going on at the point of time that muhammed said it, etc. Without ishaq's Sirat (biography)the quran could not be understood. the Ta'rikh (history) is the history of islams formation and muhammeds example called the Sunnah. This is a chronological account of islams creation up to the actions of muhammed and his band of pirates. Read them yourself and tell me if the prophet (who never got one prophecy right) was a peaceful man. I somehow suspect you dont even know your own religion as you keep mentioning just the quran. there is more to islam than that you know. And just to clarify Kane, Islam is not based on christianity or judaism even though Muhammed stole parts of each. Last time i checked christ didnt have women tied between 2 camels and pulled apart. christ didnt have one of his followers sneak into a woamns house and kill her for speaking out against him with her 5 children. Muhammed did this and more. Per islams own history. I didnt make this up, your religion says its true.
