I read the shit you wrote about precision guided ammo. The reason why they were developed is not humanitarian, you brainless toad, it because they are... more precise. And so more efficient than carpet bombing (and also less risky, since the bombings are not performed by the easily targeted flying fortresses, but by fighters bombers). Go back to first grade.
You say an awful lot of money was spent. Again, you blockhead, that was just an investment, as precision guided bombing is far less costly than carpet bombing.
