The German parliament has funded the purchase of ten Rolling Airframe Missile launchers to provide the five new K130 corvettes with anti-missile protection. The weapon was jointly developed with the US, and uses a fast and agile counter-missile to intercept anti-ship cruise missiles.Stephen V Cole
