Singapore has purchased 54 newly-built chassis for M109 self-propelled howitzers from United Defense. They plan to build their own turrets, mounting their locally-built FH2000 155mm howitzers. The Singapore Armed Forces use towed 155mm FH2000s, but have no doctrine for self-propelled artillery. They are also considering the purchase of multiple rocket launchers.--Stephen V Cole
