The British Army has reduced the number of candidates for its Future Command and Liaison Vehicle (a 4x4 armored car) to seven: Alvis Scarab, Turkish Cobra, the French ACMAT, the Italian Puma, the German Fennek (Fox), the Vickers OMC RG31, and the Swiss Eagle (a Humvee variant).--Stephen V Cole
