The USAF has given Northrop Grumman a $34 million contract to design a new Active Electronically-Scanned Array radar for the B-2 bomber, allowing it to better identify targets, and pick them out of ground clutter at longer ranges. The new radars should be installed about 2010. --Stephen V Cole
