Air Force Space Command has taken over the MSX (Mid-Course Space Experiment) from the Ballistic Missile Defense Organization, which controlled it since 1996. Space Command is using it to monitor deep space military and commercial satellites. This has doubled the number of times each satellite is examined, and 80% of the "lost" satellites have been found. --Stephen V Cole
