Canada plans to launch a 10-year $585 million upgrade of its 18 Aurora and three Arcturus patrol planes. (These are essentially P-3C Orions.) The program includes 19 separate projects, including such things as satellite communications, new navigation systems, a new data management system, and new cockpit instruments.--Stephen V Cole
