Mexico has signed a deal under which CASA (the Spanish aircraft company) will upgrade eight Mexican C-212 transports with new systems to enable to them to function as maritime patrol aircraft. The first two will be sent to Spain for the upgrade this year with the other six upgraded in Mexico.--Stephen V Cole
