Short of deployable units, the Pentagon sent Marine Reserve air units to provide the air support for this year's Bright Star exercises in Egypt. VMFA-321 from Andrews AFB Maryland and VMFA-112 from Fort Worth Texas provided the fighters; VMGR-234 from Fort Worth provided the KC-130 tankers.--Stephen V Cole
