Indonesia is
buying six more jet fighters from Russia (three Su-30s and three Su-27s) for
$50 million each. Indonesia already has four (two Su-30s and two Su-27s) of
these aircraft. Western countries, especially the United States, won't sell
warplanes to Indonesia because of human rights issues. Neighboring Malaysia is
also buying Russian (MiG-29s), but all of the other neighbors have U.S.
aircraft (mostly F-16s and F-18s).
