Italy's Aermacchi has ended its deal with Russia's Yakovlev and Sukhoi to jointly develop a new jet trainer and light attack aircraft. The Italians will develop the Westernized version as the M346 while the Russians will develop the Yak-130 on their own.--Stephen V Cole
