Israel is pushing India to buy Python-4 air-to-air missiles, insisting that these are superior to the Russian R-73s and AA-11s now in service. While having a variety of missiles in service does complicate logistics, it also provides more flexibility in buying restocks during wartime and complicates enemy missile countermeasures.--Stephen V Cole
