In the next year, the U.S. is spending $250 million to buy four more Global Hawk recon UAVs, and $210 million to buy 14 more Predator As and four Predator Bs, as well as upgrades of existing Predators and more ground equipment. Another $360 million is being spent on research and development on the Global Hawk, and $40 million for Predator development.
