Now that the Russian-built Zvesda Service Module has been installed on the International Space Station, NASA no longer plans to send its own Interim Control Module into orbit. Instead, NASA will construct a new Propulsion Module which it will dock to the station in 2004. This would provide a backup for the Russian module if the station had to change orbit or climb higher.--Stephen V Cole
