The British Royal Navy has announced a $1.8 billion order for ten new logistics ships. Six of these will be roll-on/roll-off vehicle transport ships, while the other four will be Alternative Landing Ship Logistics vessels capable of delivering troops or cargo.--Stephen V Cole
