U.S. Navy Aviation Boatswain's Mate Handling 3rd Class Alex Dieringer holds the screech owl "Fod" March 17, 2008, aboard the Nimitz-class nuclear-powered aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75), which is under way in the Persian Gulf. The owl was discovered in the left-main wheel well of an F/A-18 Hornet aircraft during a preflight inspection aboard the carrier.
