NORFOLK (April 3, 2010) The multipurpose amphibious assault ship USS Bataan (LHD 5) returns to Naval Station Norfolk. Bataan returned after conducting humanitarian and disaster relief operations as part of Operation Unified Response in the aftermath of a 7.0 magnitude earthquake that struck Haiti Jan. 12.
