A large explosive (apparently 10-11 pounds of explosive) went off in Kabul. There were no casualties and it was unclear if this was a terrorist act or some old munitions going off. In the eastern city of Gardez, a bomb went off in a market, destroying four video shops. This was thought to be a Taliban action, as religious conservatives are upset at the reintroduction of recorded music and pornography.
