More leaflets have appeared in eastern Afghanistan, warning shopkeepers to stop selling music and movies and calling for a jihad against foreign soldiers in the country. The leaflets are unsigned, and have been appearing, at night, with increasing frequency over the last few weeks. A month ago, a bomb was set off in a local market place, where music and movies were sold, wounding a dozen civilians. But the sale of music tapes and movie videos have become increasingly popular, and are showing up in the smaller towns where there are more Taliban supporters.
