A group of Taliban attacked a police station near the Pakistan border, but were repulsed. One Taliban was killed and another wounded and captured. Captured Taliban have provided a lot of information, including revelations that the Taliban are paying Afghans to set up and fire 107mm and 122mm rockets at American bases. None of these hundreds of rockets have ever hit anything. This is mainly because the rockets are inaccurate to begin with, and the Taliban's hired hands are doing the minimum to earn their pay. And the local Afghans also realize that if they kill or injure any of the Americans, usually small groups of Special Forces, other Americans will make a strenuous effort to find the attackers.
