The feuding warlord factions in the northern  city of Mazar-i-Sharif have agreed to accept neutral police from outside the city to keep the sides apart, and maintain peace in the city. A British team, composed of 60 officers and Gurkha troops, have been working with the factions to achieve some kind of peace.
