Serbian spokesman said Yugoslav President Vojislav Kostunica replaced two senior military officers who are holdovers from the Milosevic era. The officers were General Milorad Obradovic (2nd Army commander, in Montenegro) and Yugoslav Navy chief Admiral Milan Zec. The appointment not only rids Kostunica of Milosevic cronies but placates many disgruntled Montenegrins. Many Montenegrins regarded the officers as men appointed by Milosevic. In order to prepare for a Serb invasion of Montenegro.
