The Serb and Bosnian arms scandals continue to be hot topics. On October 29 US ambassador to Yugoslavia William Montgomery said that Yugoslavia had to get control of its arms exports. Well, he said regulate, but that is diplomatic language. The US wants details on the Milosevic government's arms deals with Iraq, particularly regarding information that Yugoslavia (Serbia-Montenegro) supplied information to Baghdad on manufacturing chemical and biological weapons.. Meanwhile, over in Bosnia, SFOR commander General William Ward demanded similar openness from the Republika Srpska regarding arms sales in the Middle East.
