In Kosovo, press sources said NATO peacekeepers arrested a former ethnic Albanian guerrilla leader. The man was later identified as Sefqet Musliu. Musliu was one of the UCPMBs (Army for the Liberation of Presevo, Medvedja, and Bujanovac)key commanders. One report suggested Musliu may well be connected to the Albanian National Army (ANA) which the UN recently designated as a terrorist organization. The UCPMB waged a low-level war in south Serbia and along the Kosovo border.
