Looks like Macedonia is following up on its promise to renew action against holdout Albanian nationalist guerrillas. The Macedonian government launched a series of small operations against "armed groups" (unnamed armed groups) in and around the town of Kumanovo. The operations began August 30. On Septmber 1 the Albanian National Army cropped up again, this time via email. The ANA email said that the Macedonian government needed to halt attacks on Albanian areas.
