 The 12,000 man NATO SFOR (Stabilization Force) in Bosnia will be replaced by a 7,000 man EUFOR (European Union Force) by the end of the year. U.S. forces will be withdrawn. EU forces took over the Macedonian peacekeeping force, of 400 troops, late last year.
