Poverty, open borders and terrorists looking for bases has Kazakhstan drifting towards civil disorder. The same Wahabi extremists that created the Taliban and drove the Chechen invasions of Dagestan have begun showing up in Kazakhstan. It's only a matter of time before this boils over, for the Kazakhs lack the resources to deal with the situation quickly and decisively.
