On the Colombian border, Venezuelan troops got into a fire fight with an armed group. One soldiers was killed, and another wounded. Venezuela is trying to clear armed groups out of the border area. These groups are largely leftist Colombian rebels, fleeing from increased attacks by Colombian army troops.
