In Kashmir, rebels through a grenade at an army patrol, but the grenade missed and fell among nearby civilians, wounding at least twenty. Elsewhere in Kashmir, rebels fought with troops, leaving twelve rebels and one civilian dead. Police defused a large bomb found near the provincial government headquarters.
