A car bomb went off in front of the US embassy in Pakistan. Islamic radicals, who want all non-Islamic foreigners out of Pakistan, took credit. Ten Moslems were killed in the blast.
Pakistan says it has halted the infiltration of Islamic radicals into Indian Kashmir from Pakistan. But Pakistan does not have that much control over the radicals and, short of ordering the Pakistani troops to fight the radicals. This would be difficult, as many Pakistani soldiers are religious conservatives.
