In Kashmir, Islamic rebels continued their attempts at ethnic cleansing by killing a Hindu family of four. Thousands of non-Moslems have fled Kashmir as a result of these attacks.

Pakistan is content to leave this alone as long as the militants do no obvious dirty work in Pakistan. And the militants are more or less content with this, as they objective is apparently to start a guerilla war in southeast Afghanistan over the next few months.
