Kurdish PKK separatists released four Iranian policemen they have been holding hostage. An Iranian attempt to rescue the captives by force failed, leaving several Iranian policemen dead. It was the Pezhak organization that seized the policemen. Pezhak is the Iranian wing of PKK. Most PKK members are involved fighting the Turks.
