The US says it has intercepted several shipments of industrial equipment, capable to assisting in building nuclear weapons, headed for Iraq. Such smuggling has been a highly profitable business throughout the 1990s. Jordan, Turkey and Iran have, to varying degrees, looked the other way at this business.
