The latest rumors from the Pentagon predict the use of  250,000 American troops against Iraq. The war would begin with several weeks of air attacks, along with operations by Special Forces and commandos. But there is a buildup going on, and there is increasing unrest among Iraqis, and, apparently, negotiations by members of the Iraqi government.
