Hamas says it will abide by the truce. Israel is still waiting to see if the truce will hold. Until then, a blockade of the Palestinian territories will stay in force. For the first time, Israel is also restricting the movement of Palestinian Authority officials. There was a large gun battle between Palestinians and Israelis, leaving three Israeli soldiers and 25 Palestinians wounded. Israeli aircraft again buzzed Lebanese cities.
