Palestinian terror group Hamas won most of the local elections in the Palestinian territories. This caused several gun battles between Hamas and the Fatah organization (which lost most of the elections), which left 30 people dead or wounded. Hamas is seen as much less corrupt than Fatah. This tends to chance once Hamas becomes the dominant party.
