Israel expects the Palestinians to show they can handle terrorists by rounding up the people responsible for the Tel Aviv attack, and punishing them. So far, the Palestinians are doing this. Unless the Palestinians can show they can adhere to a ceasefire, Israel will not loosen the security measures that have destroyed the Palestinian economy.
