 The US plans to move one troops from South Korea to Iraq or Afghanistan in the next year, as well as reducing the number of personnel (currently 7,000) in the American headquarters units in South Korea. South Korea has refused to send a lot of troops to Iraq, so the US is apparently sending some of those that have been stationed in South Korea.
