 Reform fever has caught up with the South Korean military. Partly, it's a generational thing. The generation that came of age after the 1950-53 Korean war are now taking over senior positions in the military. This has brought with it enthusiasm for new ideas, new tactics, new weapons and new methods for training and leading the military.
