Aid groups have resumed distributing food in Buchanan (the nations second largest town), something that could not be done earlier because of the risk of government or rebel gunmen stealing any food shipments that appeared. There are still many parts of the country where aid cannot be provided because of the danger from undisciplined gunmen. More peacekeepers will be required to deal with the gunmen out in the bush.
